JIMMIE JOHNSON X GATORADE: BOSTON MARATHON

Jimmie, never one to shy away from an incredible challenge, wanted to complete his first marathon, but running one of the world’s most prestigious races simply wouldn’t be enough for him. While other participants were finishing the final phases of their training, and clocking some rest hours, Jimmie was in Richmond, Virginia, racing the Toyota Owner’s 400. Less than 48 hours after, we scattered our filmers throughout the course to capture multiple points of impact. Navigating the city and moving to new zones was an exceptional logistical challenge with road closures and security, but a solid production plan enabled us capture the most critical locations during Jimmie’s grueling 3:09:07 run.
